Slack's new logo: yay or nay?
We really love Slack, because it provides an easy way to collaborate more effectively every single day. And we want to argue why the new logo can rock it despite disappointing feedback.

Firstly, Slack achieves more brand cohesion. The old logo did not work the same on different backgrounds and apps. Now it looks very similar.

Secondly, Slack follows trends. The new interface looks like a popular night mode version.

Thirdly, are we wrong or does the new logo look like Burning Buttons logo? We're glad we're on the same page.

Finally, the new logo has multiple meanings. Everyone understands this logo in his own way. Someone sees rubber ducks, someone sees a sprinkler, someone sees a secret symbolism. Many want to share their understanding of the icon, which increases the popularity of the brand through viral mechanics.
